BIOGRAPHY: All-Conference selection as a senior after becoming a full-time starter and posting career-high numbers of 305/1546/15 on the ground with 22/202 as a pass-catcher. Backed up Marshawn Lynch the previous two seasons and rushed for 132/999/6 as a sophomore.
POSITIVES: Compact, elusive ball-carrier with the ability to create yardage. Runs low to the ground, gets lost behind blockers, and quickly finds the running lanes. Has a burst through the hole, keeps his feet moving up the field, and deceptively strong in his lower body. Cuts back against the grain and works to keep runs alive. Solid receiver out of the backfield.
NEGATIVES: Small and has size limitations. More of a one-speed running back who cannot run to daylight.
ANALYSIS: Forsett comes off a productive season in which he improved almost weekly. Stood out at the Senior Bowl as both a ball-carrier and pass-catcher. Enters the draft as one of the better third-down backs available.
