BIOGRAPHY: Full-time starter the past two seasons after seeing extensive action with the first team during his freshman and sophomore campaigns. All-Conference selection last year after totaling 50/9/6.5. Junior-year totals included 31/2/1.

POSITIVES: Athletic interior lineman who could be used as a conventional tackle or in a two-gap system. Gets off the snap with a quick first step, plays with terrific pad level, and gets leverage on opponents. Easily changes direction, quick if asked to twist or stunt, and nicely redirects to the action. Fights with his hands and chases around to make plays.

NEGATIVES: Undersized and handled at the point. Must develop moves and become quicker disengaging from blocks.

ANALYSIS: Dotson is a high-character player who.s shown steady improvement in his game the past four years. He offers a good amount of upside for the next level and will only improve as he physically matures.
