BIOGRAPHY: Three-year starter who began his career at Colorado. All-Conference selection since his sophomore season and WAC Offensive Player of the Year the past two seasons. Awarded All-American honors since his junior campaign. Passing numbers as a senior included 70.4%/4343/38/17 when he missed time with a leg injury. Junior-year totals included 72.6%/5549/58/12. Dismissed from the Colorado program after being convicted of felony burglary and trespassing charges.

POSITIVES: Accurate shotgun-passer with a good command of the offense. Patient in the pocket, remains poised, and has a good sense of what's happening on the field. Natural looking off the safety, quickly finds the open receiver on the field, and displays timing and touch on his passes. Nicely places his passes. Makes good choices, takes the safe underneath outlet if nothing is available downfield, and buys as much time as possible for receivers. Moves around the pocket to give himself a better view of the field. Quickly releases the ball and shows velocity on shorter throws.

NEGATIVES: Not a strong, sturdy quarterback who can withstand the rush. Must improve his footwork setting up to throw the ball. Steps out of throws. Cannot zip the outs and possesses a marginal deep arm. Forces the ball into coverage on occasion. Throws the ball with a three-quarter motion, occasionally releasing passes from ear level.

ANALYSIS: Brennan has been an ultra-productive quarterback, yet he benefited from the pass-happy system at Hawaii. His ability to quickly adapt to an NFL system will dictate his success at the next level. He may be nothing more than a backup in a west coast/timing offense.

PROJECTION: Early Seventh Round
