BIOGRAPHY: Three-year starter who also saw action with the first team as a freshman. Awarded All-American honors as a senior and All-Conference honors the previous two years. Totals last season included 370/2337/37 on the ground and 29/164/1 catching the ball. Junior-year totals included 1518 rushing yards after 1643 the previous year.

POSITIVES: Hard-running ball-carrier with a variety of skills. Displays outstanding vision, runs low to the ground, and plays with an aggressive style. Follows blocks everywhere on the field, slips through the small creases of the defense, and makes opponents miss by sliding off tackles. Keeps his feet moving, picks up yardage off initial contact, and works to get as much out of every run as possible. Runs well in the open field, showing the ability to cut back against the grain. Solid receiver out of the backfield.

NEGATIVES: Not a truly elusive or creative runner. Lacks a burst of speed. Must take better care of the football.

ANALYSIS: Omon has been an ultra-productive small-school ball-carrier and also has gotten results catching the ball. Offers a lot of upside for the next level if he can handle the increased competition. Late-round selection and could make it as a team's third back.
